Texas License to Carry
We offer both in-person and online options to obtain your Texas License to Carry (LTC). Texas requires an in-person proficiency demonstration, which means you can complete the classroom portion online and then schedule your shooting qualification — or choose a fully in-person class that includes both the classroom and the range.
In addition, we provide the Texas Armed First Responder Certification, designed specifically for on-duty firefighters and emergency medical responders who want to enhance their ability to protect themselves and others while serving.
Online
Learn at your own pace with our 4-hour Texas LTC online class — accessible anytime on both computer and phone. Once you complete the course, you’ll be able to schedule your proficiency demonstration directly with Armadillo Defense!
In-Person
Our in-person LTC class is a structured 6-hour course that equips you with the knowledge and skills to carry safely and responsibly. This course includes both the classroom instruction and the state-required proficiency demonstration, all completed in a single day.
Armed First Responder
Our Armed First Responder course is designed for firefighters and emergency medical responders who wish to carry a handgun while performing their official duties. This state-required certification is taken in addition to the standard Texas License to Carry (LTC) and provides the training needed to lawfully and responsibly carry while on duty.
